HSBT DOWRY FUND:

An appropriate amount will be donated to girls facing marriage problems failing to arrange dowry. Dowry will be arranged through individual sources as well as donations. Large scale ‘Nikkah' ceremonies will also be arranged accordingly under this project.

HSBT SEWING MACHINE SCHEME:

Under the Sewing Machine Scheme launched by HSBT and IH, thousands of sewing machines are given away to destitute women every year. This Scheme facilitates the women to earn a respectable living and meet their basic domestic needs through developing their stitching/batik skills.

FREE LEGAL ASSISTANCE FOR EXPLOITED WOMEN:

FREE Legal Assistance has been arranged for the exploited/abused women. The listed departments have been established in this context to:

  1. Rehabilitate women who remain a ‘jail bird', failing to pay the fines/penalties or sent behind the bars for other reasons
  2. Develop a Powerful, Effective Program to expose Police atrocities and restrict injustice at Police Stations.
  3. FREE Legal Assistance for needy women.
  4. To take up issues involving Litigation like, murder of women on account of bashfulness or emulation.
  5. Legal Aid for women in Daar-ul-Aman (House of Safety/Protection) Orphan House or Mental Hospitals. (Recovery of women kept there under detention or exposed to hostility.)
  6. Implementation of laws to restore human rights.
  7. Filing suits against gang rape cases.
  8. Creating Awareness about the Significance of Legal Assistance through Seminars and presentation of books on Law of Inheritance.
  9. Struggle to remove Social Discrimination and restoration of Women's Social Status
